Tough Weekend for Setser in Terry Sprague Memorial
Gunnar Setser competed in the 2022 edition of the Terry Sprague Memorial over the weekend at Southern Illinois Raceway (Marion, Ill.).
A staggering 127 Micros entered the event, and on Friday night Gunnar advanced from fourth-to-second in his heat race, which positioned him third on the starting grid for a B-Main.
Unfortunately he would retire before the completion of the B-Main as his night came to an early end.
The team returned to action on Saturday at the bullring as Setser looked for better results. A second-place finish in his heat race left him short of locking into the feature. For the second-straight night Setser would head pitside early in the B-Main as his night and weekend drew to an early end.
