September 19, 2020 - Gunnar Setser Continues Winning Ways with Circus City Triumph
1Gunnar Setser put his Midwest Tube Mills No. G5 Setser Fabricating Micro Sprint in Victory Lane for the tenth time this season Saturday.

Setser went into battle against a strong field of 27 A-Class Winged Micros at Circus City Speedway in Peru, Ind. In dominating fashion, Gunnar grabbed a heat race win after starting third to earn the outside front-row starting spot for the feature. Setser took command just six laps into the 20-lapper and led the rest of the way to win over Mason Hannagan, Kole Kirkman, Cooper Baldwin, and Todd Kirkman.

August 29, 2020 - Gunnar Setser Goes Back-To-Back at U.S. 24 Speedway
1Gunnar Setser returned to U.S. 24 Speedway in Logansport, Indiana on Saturday night and left with his ninth triumph of the 2020 season.

In a field 21 A-Class Winged Micro entries, Gunnar started his night by setting QuickTime in his qualifying group. Starting his heat race in fourth, Setser advanced two spots to finish second, earning him the pole position for the 30-lap A-Main.

Charging to the lead at the drop of the green flag, Gunnar raced to his second-straight victory at U.S. 24 Speedway. Jack Hoyer, Cale Coons, Seth Pugh, and Greyson Springer rounded out the Top-5.

August 15, 2020 - U.S. 24 Speedway Gives Setser Win No. 8 of the Season
1Gunnar Setser carried his recent success into Friday night's event a U.S. 24 Speedway in Logansport, Indiana. At the end of the night, Gunnar had parked his Midwest Tube Mills No. G5 Setser Fabricating Micro Sprint in Victory Lane for the eighth time this season.

Setser started his night by qualifying second overall in the A-Class Winged Micro division. He went on to finish second in his heat race, which positioned him fourth on the start grid for the 25-lap A-Main.

It didn't take long for Gunnar to make his move, taking command of the top spot on the third circuit and never looking back. He crossed the finish line ahead of Darin Naida, Collin Mitchell, Charlie Allen, and Austin Helm.

On Saturday night at Circus City Speedway in Peru, Indiana, Setser drove from eighth to fifth in his A-Class Non-Wing Mirco heat race. Starting the 20-lap feature in 14th, Gunnar passed six competitors to place eighth in the final rundown.

August 8, 2020 - Gunnar Setser Scores Win No. 7 of 2020 with Circus City Triumph

The 11-year-old conquered the A-Class Winged Micro Sprint action at Circus City Speedway to earn his seventh win of the season.

Gunnar started his outing with a fifth to first run in his heat race, which positioned him second on the starting gird for the finale.

In the feature Setser fell back to third early before taking command of the race on lap 7 and never looking back en route to the victory. Beau Brandon, Jakeb Boxell, Mason Hannagan, and Austin Helm completed the Top-5 finishers.

Early in the weekend, Gunnar made his first ever Outlaw Non-Winged Micro Sprint start at Circus City Speedway. Finishing fourth in his heat race, Setser was an early retiree from the main event after starting fifteenth.

July 25, 2020 - Gunnar Setser Sweeps A-Class Winged Micros at U.S. 24 Speedway
1Gunnar Setser returned to U.S. 24 Speedway in Logansport, Indiana on Friday to kick off a two-day weekend at 1/6-mile oval.

With an impressive qualifying lap, Gunnar lowered the A-Class Winged Micros track record on Friday night to 11.167 seconds. He followed that with an 8-lap heat race win from fourth, earning him the third spot on the feature grid. Setser took the lead with just five laps remaining in the 25-lapper and held the top spot to take the checkers ahead of Charlie Allen, Brittain O'Neal, Collin Mitchell, and Ty Bolen.

On Saturday, Gunnar pulled double duty as he entered both the A-Class Winged and Non-Winged divisions. Setser once again topped the A-Class Winged Micros speed charts and followed that with a win in his heat race. Starting the A-Main in third, Gunnar advanced two spots to place third in the 30-lap affair behind Charlie Allen and David Conley Jr. Brittain O'Neal and Greyson Springer rounded out the Top-5 finishers.

In the A-Class Non-Winged ranks, Setser lay down the fastest lap in qualifying for the third consecutive event. He went on to place second in his heat race to lock into the third starting spot for the 30-lap feature. Gunnar landed a third-place finish in the feature, trailing Jack Hoey and Charlie Allen to the finish line. Completing the Top-5 were Seth Pugh and Caleb Schietze.

July 13, 2020 - Circus City Victory Gives Setser Fifth Win of the Season
1It was another busy weekend for Gunnar Setser that ended with the talented young driver picking up his fifth triumph of the season.

The action kicked off on Friday with a trip to Coles County Speedway in Mattoon, Ill. In the Restricted A-Class, Gunnar ran into mechanical issues in his heat race that resulted in a DNF. Starting the feature in fifth, Setser advanced to a runner-up finish behind Brody Young. Clayton Apple, Collin Shain, and Hunter Walker rounded out the Top-5.

Gunnar raced to a 10-lap heat race victory in the A-Class to earn the second starting spot on the feature grid. Unfortunately, Setser was an early retiree from the 20-lap main event. He was credited with a seventh-place outing.

Shifting to Southern Illinois Raceway in Marion, Ill. on Saturday, Gunnar was one of 25 entries in the Sportsman division. After finishing second in his heat race to earn the third starting position for the feature, Setser raced to a solid second-place outing behind Gunner Shroyer. Rounding out the Top-5 was Blake Daniels, Ryan Roy, and Kassidi Gibbs.

After taking Sunday off, Setser racing returned to familiar territory on Monday night with a trip to Circus City Speedway in Peru, Ind. Drawing the fifth starting spot for his A-Class heat race, Gunnar worked his way forward to place second. Starting the main event in second, Setser quickly took command and survived several caution periods to score his fifth win of the season. Kole Kirkman, Judson Miller, Austin Helm, and Stephen Schreck completed the Top-5.

July 4, 2020 - Gunnar Setser Grabs Restricted 'A' Class Victory at Circus City
1Gunnar Setser continued his winning ways on Friday night. Midwest Tube Mills No. G5 Setser Fabricating Micro Sprint, Gunnar streaked to to the Restricted 'A' Class victory at Circus City Speedway in Peru, Indiana.

Heat racing action saw Gunnar race to a convincing victory, positioning him second on the starting grid for the feature. Setser went on to his fourth win of the season, taking the checkered flag ahead of Kanon Posey, Elijah Anderson, Carter Whaley, and Hayden McKnight.

That same night in the 'A' Class division, Gunnar charge from the fourth-starting spot to a heat race win. His performance earned him the pole position for the feature. Unfortunately, Setser retired early from the 20-lap main event with mechanical issues.

Returning on Saturday night to once again compete in the 'A' Class division, Gunnar start the night by winning his heat race from fifth. Starting the 20-lap feature from the pole, Setser raced to a runner-up finish behind Aidan Salisbury. Mason Hannagan, Blake Lamb and Beau Brandon roundted out the Top-5 finishers.

June 26, 2020 - Gunnar Setser Claims Third Straight Win of 2020
1 Fresh off a two-win weekend, Gunnar Setser carried that momentum into Friday night's event at U.S. 24 Speedway in Logansport, Indiana. When the night endned, he had parked Midwest Tube Mills No. G5 Setser Fabricating entry in Victory Lane for the third time this season.

Mechanical issues in his heat race left Gunnar starting the feature from the tail. Despite starting deep in the field, Setser marched forward in the 25-lapper to claim his first Winged A-Class victory of the season. Gunnar crossed the finish line 1.330 second ahead of Seth Pugh, Collin Mitchell, Mason Hannagan, and David Conley Sr.

June 20, 2020 - Gunnar Setser Doubles Down in Victory Lane at Circus City Speedway
1 Setser Racing returned to familiar territory over the weekend, with Gunnar Setser entering both the A-Class and Restricted A-Class during a doubleheader at Circus City Speedway in Peru, Indiana.

Action came to life on Friday night with Gunnar starting his outing by racing to a runner-up performance in his Restricted A-Class heat race. Earning the pole position on the starting grid for the feature, Setser raced to his first win of the season over Cole Coons, Caidyn Brinkman, Easton Zent, and Elijah Anderson.

In Friday's A-Class event, Setser recorded a third-place outing in his heat race, which positioned him ninth on the starting grid for the finale. The talented 11-year-old charged through the field to take the checkered flag in the runner-up spot behind Kole Kirkman. Ian Malicoat, Tyler Orr, and Judson Miller completed the Top-5 finishers.

Returning to Circus City Speedway on Saturday, Gunnar once again started his night with a second-place finish in his Restricted A-Class heat race. In the main event, Setser charged to his second victory in as many nights, crossing the finish line ahead of Carter Whaley, Rowan Partridge, Caidyn Brinkman, and Race Bible for the win.

The A-Class on Saturday found Gunnar registering a second place run in his heat race from third. Starting the A-Main in the sixth position, Setser advance two spots in the 20-lappper to finish third behind race winner Beau Brandon, and Kole Kirman. Blane Culp and Halen Shafer rounded out the Top-5 finishers.

June 13, 2020 - Fourth Straight Top-5 at U.S. 24 Speedway for Gunnar Setser
1Gunnar Setser was back at U.S. 24 Speedway in Logansport, Indiana on Saturday night to compete in the A-Class Winged Micro division.

In a field of 17 entries, Gunnar qualified second overall and later finisher fourth in his heat race after starting third. Strating the A-Main in seventh, Setser advanced two spots to place fifth behind race winner Russ Disinger, Greyson Springer, Charlie Alle, and Stone Sharpe.

June 6, 2020 - Gunnar Setser Lands Trio of Top-5's at U.S. 24 Speedway
1Gunnar Setser and Setser Racing made their first visit of the season to U.S. 24 Speedway in Logansport, Indiana over the weekend. Gunnar competed in both the Restricted A-Class and A-Class Winged Micro Sprint divisions.

On Friday night, Gunnar earned the sixth-starting spot on the grid for the A-Class Winged Micros division. He raced his way to a solid third-place finish in the 25-lap A-Main.

For the Restricted A-Class, Setser again earned the sixth-start position for the feature via preliminary events. In the A-Main, Gunnard advanced to another podium finish with a second-place outing.

Returning to U.S. 24 Speedway on Saturday, Gunnar battled mechical issues in the A-Class division throughout the night. After finishing ninth in his heat race, he went on to record a ninth-place finish in the feature.

In the Restricted A-Class division, Gunnar topped the speed charts in qualifying and went on to place second in his preliminary heat race after starting fourth. Starting the 25-lap A-Main in third, Gunnar raced to a fifth-place finish behind race winner Kayla Martin, Reed Miller, Easton Zent, and Garrett Sautter.

May 30, 2020 - Podium Finish for Gunnar Setser at Circus City Speedway
1Gunnary Setser returned to action on Saturday evening in his Setser Fabricating No. G5 Micro Sprint. The team made the short trip to Citcus City Speedway in Peru, Indiana, where he was competing the the Restricted A-Class division.

Gunnar picked up a heat race win, after starting in the second position. Via his heat race performance, Gunnar earned the outside front-row starting spot for the feature.

After battling in the Top-5 throughout the 20-lap main event, Setser crossed the finish line in third behind race winner Collin Mitchell, and Cale Coons. Carter Whaley and Easton Zent rounded out the Top-5 finishers.

May 23, 2020 - Setser Racing Returns to KC Raceway with NOW 600 Series
1Friday night found Gunnar Setser returning to KC Raceway in Independence, Missouri to compete with the Lucas Oil NOW 600 Restricted Micros Series. Gunnar secured his spot into Friday's 20-lap A-Main with an 8-lap heat race victory. Starting in fifth, Setser went on to record a solid fifth-place finish behind race winner Jade Avedisian, Ethan Ayars, Kayden Cole, and Justin Sokol.

Returning on Saturday night, Gunnar advanced from his second starting spot to grab the win in his heat race, locking him into the fifth-start position on the feature grid. Setser dropped one spot in the 25-lap affair to place sixth.

May 17, 2020 - Fourth-Place Finish at KC Raceway for Gunnar Setser
1For the first time since early January, Setser Racing hit the road with Gunnar Setser entering a trio of events over the weekend.

As drivers ease back into competition amid the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, Gunnar enjoyed a solid return with a Top-5 and Top-10 performance this weekend.

Friday night took the team to KC Raceway in Independence, Missouri. Gunnar started the night with a second-place finish in his preliminary heat race. Starting the 20-lap main event in third, Setser went on to place fourth behind race winner Jack Thomas, Tyler Kuykendal, and Trey Zorn. Garrett Benson rounded out the Top-5.

The action shifted to Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex on Saturday. A third-place finish in his heat race after starting fifth would earning Gunnar the fifth-start spot on the feature grid. Unfortunately, on the opening circuit while battling for second, the No. G5 sustained damage that would ultimately result in a 14th place finish in the final rundown.

To close out the weekend, Setser Racing made the trip to Port City Raceway in Tulsa, Oklahoma for the Spring Fling. In a stout field, Gunnar managed a fifth-place finish in his heat race, which positioned him 16th on the starting grid for the A-Main. He went on to charge through the field to a solid seventh-place finish.

January 3, 2020 - Setser Racing Enjoying Success in Tulsa Shootout
1Setser Racing kick-started their 2020 campaign on Wednesday at the 35th Annual Lucas Oil Tulsa Shootout held at the River Spirit Expo Center in Tulsa, Okla. The action got underway with Outlaw Non-Wing and the Restricted 'A' Class taking center stage.

A field of 304 Outlaw Non-Wing entries filled the River Spirit Expo Center. The field was broken up into 34 Heat Races with the Top-112 in passing points at the conclusion advancing to eight Qualifying Races on Friday. Jason Setser advanced from his fourth starting position to a solid second-place finish, which earned him the seventh starting spot in Friday's Qualifier.

In the Restricted 'A' Class, Gunnar Setser went into battle against a field of 110 entries. The Top-60 in passing points following 14 Heat Races would transfer to five Qualifying Races on Thursday. Gunnar blasted to a heat race win, earning him the second starting spot on the grid for Thursday's Qualifier.

Thursday's festivities kicked off with heat races for the Stock Non-Wing division. A stout field of entries was broken up into 37 eight-lap Heat Races. Jason advanced to a fifth-place finish after starting eighth in his respective heat, sending him to a C-Main on Friday.

The Qualifying Races for the Restricted 'A' class on Thursday saw Gunnar drive to yet another win, locking him into Saturday's 25-lap Championship A-Main to battle for the coveted Golden Driller.

In the Junior Sprint division, Gunnar drew the pole position for his heat race and lead flag-to-flag for a convincing victory, earning him a spot in one of eight qualifying races.

1Friday's action began with a C-Main for the Stock Non-Wing division. Jason Setser raced from his third starting position to win, transferring him to a B-Main on Saturday.

A busy day on Friday concluded with Qualifying Races for the Outlaw Non-Wing division. Rolling off seventh, Jason advanced two spot during the 10-lap affair to finish fifth.

The grueling 35th Annual Lucas Oil Tulsa Shootout drew to a close on Saturday afternoon. Jason Setser made the decision to retire from the remainder of the weekend to focus on Gunnar.

After starting ninth in the Junior Sprint A-Main, Gunnar ran as high as eighth in the 25-lapper before a tangle with another competitor on the final lap forced him to restart from the tail of the field. He went on to a sixteenth-place finish in the final rundown.

In the Restricted 'A' Class after rolling off in eighth, Gunnar dropped four spots during the 25-lapper to place a solid 12th.

November 10, 2019 - Gunnar Setser Wins in First 600cc Start at Wayne County
1Gunnar Setser and Setser Racing returned to Wayne County Speedway (Wayne City, Ill.) on Sunday afternoon as the talented young driver made his 600cc Winged Micro Sprint debut.

The Columbus, Ind. hot shoe charged to a convincing heat race win, earning him the pole position for the feature. Setser grabbed the lead at the drop of the green flag and led every lap of the 15-lap main event to score his first-ever 600cc Winged Micro Sprint victory.

Following Setser across the finish line were: Koert Mehler, Troy Leonard, Ayden Gatewood, and Aidan Salisbury.

October 17, 2019 - Runner-Up Finish at Wayne County for Gunnar Setser
1Gunnar Setser and Setser Racing entered a single event over the weekend. The team's lone venture into action came on Thursday night at Wayne County Speedway (Wayne City, Illinois) during the Restrictor Micro Sprint portion of the annual Jason Leffler Memorial.

October 12, 2019 - Podium Finish for Gunnar Setser at U.S. 24 Raceway
1On a chilly Saturday evening Setser Racing invaded U.S. 24 Raceway (Logansport, Indiana) for another night of Restricted Winged Micro Sprint action.

Gunnar once again took his Midwest Tube Mills No. G5 Setser Fabricating/ Driven Chassis Wingless Micro Sprint into battle against a talented field of racers.

He started his nightr by qualifying fastest in his group and backed it up with a heat race win. In the feature, Setser started fifth before crossing the finish line in the third position behind Jack Hoyer and Colin MItchell.

Jason Setser also joined in the night's fun, by entering the Senior Micro Sprint division. He started his night with a heat race win, which positioned him fifth on the starting grid for the feature. Setser's night came to an early end as he retired early from the caution-filled finale and was credited with an eighth-place finish.

September 28, 2019 - Wayne County Speedway Win Scored by Gunnar Setser
1It was a doubleheader weekend of racing for Setser Racing and its pilot Gunnar Setser. The team kicked things off on Friday night with a trip to Wayne County Speedway (Wayne City, Illinois) in his Midwest Tube Mills No. G5 Setser Fabricating/ Driven Chassis Winged Micro Sprint

Gunnar started his night with a fifth-to-second run in his heat race, which positioned him on the pole for the feature. In the main event, he wired the field to score his 10th victory of the season.

Collin Mitchell, Braden Pfeiffer, Kayla Martin and Izzie Wilson completed the Top-5 finishers.

Saturday evening brought the team back to their home track, Circus City Speedway (Peru, Indiana). Gunnar raced to a runner-up finish in his heat race before recording a third-place finish in the feature behind Collin Mitchell and Jack Hoyer.
