Highbanks Hustle X Takes Setser to Southern Illinois Raceway

Gunnar Setser and Setser Racing rolled into Southern (Marion) Illinois Raceway on Friday for the opening round of the Highbanks Hustle X.

Ninety-five Winged 600cc Outlaws took aim on the mega event, and Gunnar hit the ground running with a heat race win from the pole position of his heat race. He started third in his B-Main, but fell short of a transfer with a fifth-place finish.

On Saturday he looked to improve his performance against the talent-laden field. However, after finishing sixth in his heat race, Gunnar was left starting ninth int he B-Main. He was only able to advance a single spot to an eighth-place finish, which brought his weekend to an early end.
