Gunnar Setser Banks Top-10 Finish in A Wingless Class Clash at U.S. 24 Speedway

Gunnar Setser made the trip to U.S. 24 Speedway (Logansport, Ind.) on Thursday to kick off the All-In Transportation A Class Wingless Clash.

A talent-laden field of 94 entries were on hand for Thursday's preliminary action. A 12th-place finish in his qualifier and a fourth-place finish finish in his heat race left Gunnar short of qualifying for the night's prelim feature.

Action resumed on Friday, and after not being able to finish his heat race, the team made the decision to scratch from the qualifier, where they were scheduled to start 18th on the grid.

The event drew to a close on Saturday evening as Gunnar and Setser Motorsports hoped for better results. They would definitley achieve their goal.

Gunnar hit the ground running by impressively winning his heat race from the eighth-starting spot and then backed it up with a qualifier win to lock into the seventh-starting spot for the coveted main event. The 40-lap finale found the talented young racer running in the Top 10 throughout the event before ultimately crossing the finish line in the ninth position.
